General

What does vegan mean in relation to jewellery?

It means all of our tools are leather + hide free, we only use vegan materials and all proceeds go to a supporting a vegan family (mine!) so you know your purchase will not in anyway contribute to harm of our fellow earthlings.

What currency are your prices in?

All our prices in AUD, however depending on your country your local currency may be displayed.

Do you have a physical shop?

No, we are online only. All pieces are made and shipped from our studio in Meanjin, Brisbane.

The Jewellery

Where is your jewellery made?

All of our jewellery is handcrafted by Georgia in our home studio in Meanjin (Brisbane, Australia).

How is your jewellery made?

We handcraft each piece using traditional goldsmithing and lost wax casting techniques (and a little bit of magic).

What metals do you use?

We make our pieces out of recycled silver, 9ct gold or 18ct gold (or a combination thereof for our mixed metal lovers).

All our metals are solid (not plated or filled EVER, including white gold which we do not rhodium plate), are recycled and are sourced from a local Australian business.

Can you re-use my metal?

Currently no, I am working on a recycling system but due to the large minimums for refining I am not there yet - watch this space.

What gemstones do you use?

Almost everything - as long as it is vegan friendly. Natural pearls are the exception. If you have a specific stone in mind, get in touch and we will do our best to source it for you.

Do you work with customer supplied gemstones?

Yes, but our insurance does not cover materials supplied by customers. Gems can be lost in transit, damaged during setting, or crack during cleaning. If you understand and accept that risk, we are happy to proceed.

Do you take Custom Orders?

Yes, and it is one of our favourite things to do. FIND OUT MORE ABOUT BESPOKE

No, we only work on pieces made in our studio.

How do I work out my ring size?

The easiest method is with an At Home Ring Sizer. Otherwise, most jewellery shops will be able to size you if there is one nearby.

Can you resize a ready to ship ring for me?

Sometimes. It depends on the ring, the gemstone, and the size difference. Each listing notes whether resizing is possible and if there are limits. When in doubt, get in touch and we can advise.

Warranty & Returns

Are there any care instructions for my piece?

We have detailed care instructions on the back of the "Thank You" card enclosed with your order. Like all fine jewellery all of our pieces can be misshaped or damaged if bumped or knocked, so please be gentle with us.

We recommend that you take your piece off before bathing to help preserve the polish and avoid tarnish. Silver and gold can be tarnished by common household chemicals found in cleaning products and perfumes. If tarnish does appear we recommend a silver polishing cloth be gently used.

All our pieces are solid metal so the finish won't wear off, but polish does still dull over time. Gold is a soft metal and therefore particular care should be taken to avoid bumps and other knocks as it can scratch. All pronged jewellery should be inspected once a year by a jeweller as prongs can wear down overtime and can risk the stone becoming loose.

Every gem has different requirements in regards to what can damage it. If you would like to know care details for a particular gemstone you are purchasing please get in touch, otherwise I recommend googling the gems you wear and learn a bit about their care.
