Before there was Earth Heart, there was a girl who could not walk past a crystal shop without stopping. Who grew up with Shirley Barber books spread open on her lap, tracing the wings of fairies through enchanted gardens that felt more real than the world outside the window.
That girl grew up, found her way to Bali, walked into a silversmithing class in 2019 on a quiet afternoon, and felt something click into place that has never unclicked since.
THE MAKER
Hi, I'm Georgia.
In my quiet Queensland studio, I craft each piece by hand, moving with intention. My inspiration flows from ancient mythology and the ocean’s promise of mermaids, to the breathtaking artwork that stopped my heart in Florence, to timeless fairy tales and the strange magic of gemstones.
Self-taught and fiercely intentional, I have shaped ancient techniques practiced by the artisans before me to suit my vision, values and artistic style. Each piece is made with deep consideration: of the materials and their journey to my bench, of the heart that will treasure them, and of my energy when I am transforming metal and crystal from idea to completed piece.
THE INSPIRATION
I was the girl ignoring all the other kids in favour of collecting shells and pretty rocks. Who had every Shirley Barber book memorised. Who watched The Secret Garden and The Swan Princess so many times the tapes started to go fuzzy. There was always this feeling that there was so much beauty in the world, just out of reach in the rush of it all. You could almost touch it if you paid close enough attention in the slow moments, like watching a butterfly rest on a flower in the springtime sun. I never grew out of that feeling and I never wanted to. It is still there every time I sit down at the bench. It is in the pieces themselves if you know where to look.
THE SPACE
A studio in sunny Meanjin.
Most days begin with an energy drink and gemstones spread across the bench, the early Queensland sun coming in warm and gold. This is a space where nothing is rushed and nothing is wasted. Every scrap of metal is kept and recycled back into new work. Every material is chosen with care. Every practice here is completely vegan. Where the process matters as much as the result.

Every made to order piece in my studio will be made in your exact size. Not the standard 8 options stocked by most big box jewellery chains. Your size, down to the 1/4. Offering inclusive sizing has always mattered to me and it always will. If you have ever been made to feel unwelcome somewhere because of your ring size, you are very welcome here.
